I was thinking more along the lines of the poultry seasoning, they'd eat it - as opposed to smoking it - with the same end result, munchies and a trip to the store!

But if they eat the poultry seasoning, use the previously mentioned AirSoft rifle solution and the birds are per-seasoned for dinner :)

Kind of like getting the pig to eat barbeque sauce :?
