You have to see this! Hison!

I was doing some research on a pump I have in my boat left by the PO and stumbled across this.

Got me thinking.. Hmm. Hmm.
What the heck? I wonder if Roger knows about this?
Well I guess the labor is cheaper in China.

Um you do realize its scam there is no sailboats they copy and pasted some pictures and hope a investor sends them HEAPS of cash (they only do business western union) and then don't produce and cant be found -or -say they are legitimate they order them from Macgregor and play middle man and mark them up so say your in North Korea they will buy it in China and sell it to you at a Mark up.
LOL If you use the Magnifier you can see the Mac badge on the side.

I like how they describe it first as a catamaran and at the end as a jet ski. I knew our boats were hybrids of sorts but this is quite a stretch :D :D

Does anyone know what the other boats are they are copying? I kinda only have been paying attention to macks. The Red and the Green ones look fast. Not sure what they are copies of. http://www.alibaba.com/product-gs/32296 ... _keel.html and http://www.alibaba.com/product-gs/23647 ... lboat.html

I emailed MacGregor. They know about it now.

Well, we discussed this subject over a year ago and Macgregor was notified at that time.

call them, they will copy anything out there if they can sell enough units,I've seen the plant that that builds the yamaha and mercury <50hp outboards also sells exact copies for half the price of the mercury that was built on the same assembly line.I recently purchased a new Lifan 6.5 hp lawnmower style engine at home depot for 119.00, it's an exact copy of the honda 6.5 hp motor that sells for 300.00, and all parts interchange.Lifan has almost taken over the entire go-cart, minibike market in the 2.5 to 15hp class from honda in the last decade.their quailty is also excellent. i also run a lifan 13hp on my air compressor it cost 239.00 at home depot, honda was 850.00 , no contest.

It would be interesting to see a product that out-cheaps Roger Macgregor.

Wow. I didn't know it was talked about last year! I'm even more surprised that the site is still offering the Hison/Mac 26M. I did send a email to MacGregor and got one back saying it was being forwarded to Roger.
Who knows if they will be actually copying them or not. It's a lot of work for ??? however many boat sales.
