Rick - what colour (color) are (is) your cap(s)? Sorry to hear about your divorce - maybe you can look up that old Polish girlfriend on the way?
Crikey -I looked at the map on the show website, but I couldn't positively identify points where the concessions were. If you know one on the map, lets do that one- I'm flexible too. And will it be a slouch hat for you?
I'll wear my "highlander" cap with the ships wheel if I remember to bring it
. I'll show up @ 12.10pm that'll give U's enough time to have the first round on the table large Lager for me will do for starters
J
Seahouse, or somebody - The official site has a crappy map, and I can't identify the exact concession location. Can we get posted an X 'marks the spot somehow'?
I'm retracting my Admiral as it turns out it's the day of the Tanner family Christmas and she has to drop me off in the morning and get an early start, before my sorry **** has to make an appearance. It's a German/Canadian thing, and there's no backing out!
Sokay... That'll give me enough time to buy the cheap Chinese inflatable I'm shopping for, and squeeze an extra 'shout' or two out of highlander before having to rejoin the bund.
Their was a nice Carribbean bar / rest. in the sailing area last year that Beene & Rocky , I had ate at last yr & was not bad & had nice music playing also

Rick- got it, but what's the "J" stand for? Or did you mean to type "M"?
J = Jose
OK- Got it.
Just for the record, in Canadian it is spelled "Hoser".

OK John - that will be helpful. We just go to where the bagpipes are playing then?
More seriously - it looks like what you are describing John might be on the northeast corner of Exhibit Hall D. It's not labeled on the map, but it looks like 4 hairy balls in a vertical line with an "L" shaped area. Would that thar be the place?

So my understanding there will be no Mac on display correct? will there be any other trailer sailers or sailboats in general. I would be coming from Rochester,NY and would like to know if its worth the trip
I can't speak for other trailer sailor brands, but according to Crikey, correct, there will not be a Mac on display there. But there is one in Hamilton (an M, blue hull) at Dowsar's showroom, which is not too far off the QEW, on the way to T.O.
Dowsar is the only ("official") Mac dealer in this area.
As I mentioned in an earlier post, the showing of sailing-related goods seems to be diminishing at the show.
For directions and info Google "Dowsar". It's a word like "kodak"; there's only one. (nearly)
Last year (and from memory, the one before!) Hunter had their heavy, expensive competitor nearby the Dowsar table. This year, they're probably referring people like D-Hemi over to them in order to satisfy their desire to see a trailer sailor, while they sell the DVD's. The mind boggles!
Maybe we should open an importers consortium for next year, and charge commisions?
Like the idea of the Caribean bar/restaurant with the bagpipes playin Mappage

So far it looks like we are meeting at 12:00 noon in what appears on the map to be a refreshment area near the Toronto Brigantine Booth, (# 1649) in the north east corner of Exhibit Hall D.
