10th Annual NC Pirate Sail at Cape Lookout Sep 30 - Oct 2

Post by vkmaynard »

Information http://www.ncsail.org under Events and http://www.enctrader.com/ncsail

Well it looks like we have two new additional MacGregor pirates joining us this year, C130King (VA) and fishheadbarandgrill (SC)

Hopefully, Mr Ron Mohler will also grace us with his presence again this year. Maybe he is up for a sailing rematch, with out injuries:)

In addition to all the other sail boats, there will be 5 local Macs who regularly sail with NCSail.org. That will make a total of 7 Macs, an new record for us!

Come join the fun if you can.

Can't wait to bring Syzygy to my old stomping grounds. I use to tear up the Neuse on my Laser and Hobie 16 back in the day. Should be a blast. I'll be berthed at the city dock starting Thursday night.

It's not about how fast you get there... but how you look doing it. (see dressed up boat video link)

Guess I need to start thinking about a different costume.

Here is a little game we played last year, called "a short drop and a sudden stop."

Looks often have to do with how much alcohol is consumed the evening after the dinner. Erik I don't think there is enough alcohol on this planet for you personally to look good to me :P. So the right answer by the photos, videos, and witnessing it all, it is about how much fun you can all have.

Just post all rubbing here because I found there to be some seriously thin skinned people on NC Sail.org. However none of those thin skinned individuals have a MacGregor so your safe here. My advice when posting to NC Sail do not joke or mention in passing anything that could be controversial. You know things like Guns, Theory of Evolution, and anything that even comes close to swearing. It is a Bible Belt forum. Stick to information only or be an outcast like me and don't post anything for a year. Luckily they don't have good memories  .
