I'm looking to buy a boom for my recently acquired MacGregor 25. The lack of a boom is the only thing stopping me from getting this baby out on the lake for a maiden voyage. I'd prefer to buy a boom from somewhere near the northeastern U.S. if at all possible. Bwyacts.com sells new ones for $168, but the shipping charges are said to be quite high on their parts site (they're in California). If anyone has a boom for sale, feel free to reply here or PM me. Thanks!

Looking for a Boom for Mac 25
I'm not sure if this should have ended up in the classifieds section, but since it's just for a part and not a whole boat, I thought I would try here.

What are the dimensions? I have an excellent boom from the SF22. It appears to be about a foot and a half shorter than the Mac 222's which I believe is around 10 foot. I also saw a Craigs List advert for a used Venture 22 boom in Road Island about a month ago.

Thanks, 72Mac, but the 25's boom is longer than the 22's. Too bad, too....I could have used my '72 V2-22's boom while the 22 is laid up for the keel overhaul next year.

You're right...I just checked the address on the website. I don't know how I got that one mixed up.
