I forgot to open the air intake valve on the gas tank. The engine ran for a while and then quit. It looked like the hand pump on the fule line was sucked dry and the fuel line had come off the gas tank. I reconnected, and opened the air intake valve on the gas tank. I had to manually squeeze the hand pump on the fuel line quite a few times.
Now the engine will not start. When I turn the key, it beeps at the first notch. At the second notch, normally the engine start; now nothing happens.
It's a standard 2009 Mercury 60HP bigfoot EFI, with the Mercury throttle that came with the engine.
I assume that there is air in the fuel line. I am asking for suggestions on how to bleed the fuel line. There is also the fuel filter between the gas tank and the engine.
Other suggestions on what to look for, what to try to isolate the problem, and perhaps also how to fix would also be highly appreciated.
Regards,

You may want to enter your Boat in your profile, Type, Year, and were you are from.
Just to help us to determine Alt., Latitude and Logitude. Latter isn't required.
This will help all others in your location to help you, or others to notify you to help you with your problem .

The no start condition isn't fuel related. You have a problem with the starter circuit you need to diagnose
