Easter Sunday on Moreton Bay

Weather forecast looks good for Sunday. Anyone planning on a day on the Bay?

Hi Mate

Did you make it out? I was on the bay for 4 days floating around. If memory serves me correct Ester Sunday had 90+ boats anchored at Horseshoe Bay It was packed but the Mac with a nice flat hull meant I could get right in close to shore (I didn't mind the boat being our of water during low tide) so I had a nice quiet time away from the cround without some bozo in a Riveria running an air conditioner all night

G'day Dave,
Went to Tangalooma in a stiff SSEaster. Had a good day motored back in some big swells. About 30 boats at the wrecks. Had fun retrieving as the tide was low and the ramp drops off a tad.

Opps I got my Sunday's mixed up.

I was up at Lake Cootharaba for Easter and we motored up the Everglades to get out of the wind.

It was the following Sunday I was on Moreton Bay and it was an absolute floater!!
