This looks like a great site where I can learn a little more about Macs.
We are going to look at a Mac 26S sitting on a black trailer. The owner does not know if it is the factory trailer or not. Will it say on the title Made by Macgregor ?
And it should have a 2" coupling. Right ?

Usually, yes, but it is possible that the decals are no longer on the trailer. Does it have a title?
And all Mac trailers were painted black.

Owner says there are no decals on the trailer. He also says he does have the title in hand. So I'll check the title to see who made it.

John- the VIN number will be stamped on the trailer somwhere. If you cant prove your title matches a stamped on VIN in some states, you wont be able to register it so it will be useless. Be careful on that transaction please.
Thanks to all for the valuable input. The Previous Owner (PO) did have a title with matching numbers, there were Mac decals on the trailer but faded really badley so they were hard to read. Now that I am a Mac owner I'll introduce myself in another thread.
