Pretty cool - nice Winter project. How big is it? Nothing in the picture to give it scale.

Its still not enough,
you cannot replace smart people. but smart people need machines.
I worked on a project to make a short barrelled semi auto rifle out of a prosthetic leg, and a wheel chair. Both were given to the FBI.
I only use that knife for demo purposes. The carbon fiber one with the ceramic blade shows up much less than the one I made with the titanium edge. and Dyneema wrapped thin steel barrel liner is really difficult to spot, looks like a pen body in the scanner (had it next to the pens). and the shell casings made of carbon fiber, with ceramic coatings were almost indistinguishable from the CR2 batteries they were carried with. a small button cell battery was used as wadding to make it function like a battery.
expensive, time consuming.....but.
Governments are still trying to stay one step ahead.
I think the above model is neat, does kind of remind me as much of the edge as the X. But it would be very fun to have on the mantel during those winter months.
