Is that simply one solid piece of pvc from one stanchion to the other, that would be too easy!

Yes, if you live in snow country make sure you brush that snow off. I went skiing for a week last winter and when I got back, this is what I found. I told my younger brother and his two 20+ year old kids who live with me to keep the snow off the portable garage. They obviously didn't do what I asked them.
