That would be nice with a movie like "Master and Commander" or "Pirates of the Caribbean"kmclemore wrote:Well, for us we also enjoy 'getting away' from it all, but at the same time we might want to enjoy a nice movie, just the two of us, with a couple of glasses of wine, before we turn in for the evening... and that's where the DVD/TV is really nice. And as I say, with the IR headphones we can do so without disturbing anyone else on board, too.

Actually, we prefer something a wee bit more romantic before bundling in for the evening...RussMT wrote:That would be nice with a movie like "Master and Commander" or "Pirates of the Caribbean"kmclemore wrote:Well, for us we also enjoy 'getting away' from it all, but at the same time we might want to enjoy a nice movie, just the two of us, with a couple of glasses of wine, before we turn in for the evening... and that's where the DVD/TV is really nice. Romantic, Dave, not x-rated. Think "Ghost" or something like that....David Mellon wrote:Debbie Does Dallas?

I have 13 inch AC/DC HDTV (it has the digital ATSC tuner in it) w/ DVD that I mounted on the outside wall of the head. It mounts like a picture frame so it is easy to take on and off, I don't keep it in the boat all the time because I also use it as my kitchen TV also.

I use it mostly on the boat to pick up the local 24/7 digital weather channel, it's a cheap way to have radar and forecast info when on the water... and the kids like the DVD player.

"Really Mr Allnut?"
"You can call me Charlie."
(My favorite movie of all time, I wore out a Tape of the movie and now have it on DVD.)
