Shroud Tension
For any of you 26X people tht have replaced the shroud slider thingies (whatever they are called) with turnbuckles, what level of tension do you typically keep on the upper and lower shrouds (according to a loss gauge)?

Re: Shroud Tension
dclark,
The quick answer is 10% on the lower and 15-20% on the uppers according to Brian Toss (Tuning your rig DVD, http://www.amazon.com/Tuning-Your-Rig-D ... B0009XCZU6). I followed his suggestion with my 2000 X and it performs much better. Really notice the bend and the rake to the mast now.
Here is a link to the gauge I used:

Good luck
