new guy
new guy
hi, just bought the boat. i've been a lurker here for years all the time wanting a 26x and i finally did it. i bought a 2001 26x and took it out the weekend before last. it was a blast! i made about every mistake you could and pretty much forgot everything i learned on the catalena 22. we are going to put it in mast up storage this summer anyway, my wife wants to use it a lot to justify the price, works for me! i figure it is the perfect grandpa boat, i can take the kids and wear them out on a tow float and when they get too tired to play my wife and i can go sailing. at least that's plan a.
