Sebewaing, MI marina

Post by SPC Paul »

Hey everyone!

I've been absent from the board for a while as my boat never left my yard last season.
Vowing to never let that happen again, I've decided to keep my boat in the water this
year and I found a great deal at the Sebewaing marina: $300 bucks for a slip for the
whole season, electricity, water, and wi-fi included! There are 4 launch ramps, and no
overhead wires in the parking area. I have not yet seen the bathroom/shower/laundry
facility. The harbormaster told me they don't open it until they have 30 boats. There
were about 22 slips rented when I was there last week.

The only downside is the channel to get out into Saginaw Bay is 3 miles long. In past years,
the channel has been very shallow, but was just dredged last year to 5'. It takes me
about 40 minutes to get through the channel at my top speed of 6mph, but an X or M
could fly through in minutes.
