This board has a problem with posting URL links. When it gets fixed I will just post the links. Until then I will post the addresses and then the images. When I post again I will take out the images and leave the links which you will have to copy and paste into the address bar or go to Sailfar.net and click through the same thread title.

99% of the time it is that the link has a - (hyphen) in it from my experience.

But the pictures are great nevertheless

The Forum software incorrectly parses a URL on several characters.
Not sure about the hyphen, but the vertical bar ( | ) and the asterisk (*) are definitely causing some URL-heartburn.

HI James,
Great pics, get use to the currents if your coming up the St Lawrence. I'll be lauching my boat at the Marina de la Chaudiere on the south shore of Quebec City( at the moment there are

8knot currents coming off the Chaudiere River in front of the lauch). Let me know when you will be getting here and I'll give you a tour of the Old City

. Maybe Highlander will be around and we can hoist a few

. We are celebrating our 400th anniversary out here this summer so there are lots of interesting activities to take in (City is investing millions in activities)...worth a few days shore leave.

Nice place to get out from the ICW for a while.

good, souther place to eat but a little pricy -

Hogan's Marina. $ 10 for dinghy but everything is close by or you can use the free dock and walk across the bridge (the bridge is 34 feet at high tide, 9 foot tides -

One of the cutaways in the ICW, Tide currents can be 2 knots and upt to 3.5. One section I heard was up to 6.5.

I do not know for sure. I am staying in Jacksonville NC for a month visting and then Kinda looking for work and going north. spent to much and would like a couple of boat bucks for the winter S. Fl cruise.

Louis, Yes I have and read the book but having to cruise 40 miles for 5 days out of 7 is not my style unless I did it without the mast and at 14+ mph. This is a 5000+ mile trip.

The Fl Loop at just under 800 miles in 6 months is my style.
