.... puts me in mind of the Billy Connolly sketch about the Pope drinking pints of Creme de Menthe and then calling out for his friends Hughie & Ralph :D

Well what can I say Beene
When you bring your boat to my place this spring to get her ready for the new season & do more mods I'll not be there on Sat, Sun only Fri so I'll leave you the key's to the joint if you promise no party's !! beer with me on Fri is aloud of course !
You see it is
Senorita has requested my presence for Easter wk-end 4days & all 9 wk-ends in Apr, May, so as I really like my french deserts how could I turn down an offer like that ! guess I'm really going to build up them there aeroplan miles Eh, !! thank goodness for unlimited flight passes ? so it's off to Quebec city I go :P  it was a hard decision but somebody had to make it :) :D :D :D

Yeah maybe on Q1 :D :D :D with Kayak Dan :) the ladies also I guess !
I'll be avail to go sailing any friday on Beene's boat when ever he is avail, as his boat is docked only 5mins from his house lucky guy but still only 40mins from my place ! as he will be bringing his boat to my place for the spring to get it ready for the new season & finnish off some mods I'm hoping that we will be able to help each other out & get the boats ready quicker ! that was the plan anyway before this QC thing came about ! but it should still work out Beene's alittle bit disapointed I believe but he'll get over it ! :P
I got a quote on my bowsprit design $1100. approx so I'm waiting on another quote from another place ! will have to see if I can find a few more SS Fabricators though for a better price ! I have noway of bending 1 1/4" SS pipe Oh well we shall see I suppose . I have everything I need almost to start my new boat mods all new electronics, switches, etc, waiting for auto bilge pumps to go on sale !
I have to wait for better weather to raise the mast to measure what my length will be for my genny furler out 4ft on my yet to be made bowsprit still pondering on what make I will go with hoping to see some pic's of Terry's new furler soon I believe it only has a 3 1/2" spool maybe not big enough for my application I maybe post some pic's of my new Mac furler to day if I get time it is still inside the new boat :)

Alex

A helicopter from my backyard would be nice 8) !! :D :D :D :)
talk about that long distance feeling !!! :D :D :D

John,

When I was dating my wife, she went to school 483km north of me in Oswego, NY. It was a long drive, but I did not care. My best driving time to get there was 4hr 10min.

I hope your lady friend likes sailing.
