i have a 26x , 2003, with a CDI fuller, the working jib is now configured on the fuller, i have a brand new genoa, doyle brand same as working jib,

Yes indeed. Take the short tail of the pilot line (the small line that is very limp because the core was removed) that is fastened to the furler, untie it and add on at least 25ft of another line if your rig is standing. If on the ground you won't need the addition. Untie the downhaul line from the sail clew and pull the sail down and out the wide space in the foil about a foot from the bottom. Replace the jib with the genoa in the reverse process. Feed top of genoa in slot and pull on the pilot line so the genoa slides up the foil all the way to the top. Tie off the pilot line to the furler body. Tighten the luff by pulling down on the clew line and tieing off. You're done.

Catigale has a good point. Phange the number of wraps with the bigger sail but do not even think of cutting the extra line in the cockpit, because you will want to move back the smaller jib if sailing for quite a while in areas of higher winds. In any case remember to keep tension on the furler line when furling so the line does not get loose on the drum... it's not easy to get the tangle undone on a bouncing boat in the rain.... no need to ask me how i know
