Yesterday I went to take my 96X out of a central Florida lake to move to Gulf side of Florida when the tongue portion of the trailer nearly broke in two as I was pulling up the ramp. Managed to ease the trailer back into the water and ease the boat off...but now am faced with trying to either get the 11yr old trailer sufficiently repaired to make the 90 mile trip or get a new trailer. or borrow one. Since it is Sunday and cant' reach Costa Mesa I thought i'd ask the community...
Does the 26M trailer sufficiently fit the 26X to tow it.
What's the retail value of one.
Finally, is there a Mac 26X wet slip owner within 100 miles of Orlando that would consider renting me their trailer just so I can get my boat to Tarpon Springs. Once there I can take 6 months to locate, build or buy another trailer.
Trailer Broke...need help

I'd contact the factory to answer the question as to compatability issues, although I'd think it would work Ok!
Once again, I'd say for all owners to drill a 1/2" hole at the extreme front of the 4" x 4" box steel frame to allow water to drain. There ya have proof! In that 11 years later and a catospropic failure of this particular area. It was a problem on my 1973 frame, and it still is today.
Drill that weep hole!
BTW, I'd also reccomend renting a trailor to do the move, and just replace the 4" box frame, easier and MUCH cheaper IMHO anyway?
