Funny thing you ask.... If all went south I would likely lose the 500K house and get to start over and pay about $1500 a month child support. Lets not get started on alimoney..

Sad but true...I sold my MAC X

I must say it was a wonderful journey. I bought that fun little boat in 2002 after researching it for almost 2 years. I think I bought the boat at the wrong time in my life. My wife was pregnant with our first child and since then we have had 3 kids since the boat arrived. The amount of kids you hav...

That is a sweet setup there..... Actually they bring Boeings into Sarasota too. The one I see north of the airport is sitting in the water with direct access to the gulf. looks like it has no bimini or roller furler on it.

MacX on approach to Sarasota FL

Does anyone here own the X just north of Sarasota? I fly over that boat all the time and it makes me smile when I see it. Then I miss my X..

I have a 5000 btu unit that i have on a mount that goes in the companionway. Works nicely after these florida hurricanes too...It works well and can store easily. I do think that in an emergency i might have to jump over it or at least lift it a bit and shove it out. I have a honda 2000 generator th...

relief band

As soon as I turn out of the inlet and head for the ocean my wife gets sick. I tell her its all in her head.. She screams it is a physical issue. One time while she was asleep down below I headed throught the inlet and it was a bit choppy and I though I would get busted by her. I made it through and...

downriggers

I also sail while fishing, depending on the wind is what depends on the sails that are out. As for a downrigger I tend to use the downpplaners as they are cheaper and easier to stow. I have used the motor to troll before but prefer to sail, but if there is no wind then i will use the motor.

fishing

I have used my :macx: for offshore fishing alot! I plan on going to sail so if nothing is pulled in its still a win -win situation. I pull 2 lines at a time-any more than that and you just get them all tangled as there is not enough beam to spread them out. I thought about outriggers and actually ha...

expensive popcorn

even at the conversion rate $627 is some real expensive popcorn. What ever happened to Jiffy POP on the grill? That neat metal pan with foil over it? At that price you might as well take a chance on the cheap Honda knock-off generator and a wal mart special micro unit and for the saving you will hav...

Honda Gens

I have owned or own both of the Honda's. It seems these knock-offs are priced $150 less than the lowest price I paid. Knowing the reliability of the Honda name I would cough up the extra $$$ to have piece of mind. I had 1800 hrs on the 1000 when I sold it and met a guy with the 1000 with almost 6000...

gen vibration

I tried it with a B&S gen that I have and the vibration and noise was crazy but now I have the honda eu2000i and i dont feel the vibration and the noise is quieter than the airconditioner. My gen sits on the rubber mat next to the engine with a cable and padlock cause I believe those little feet...
