Re: Fuel Leak on Mercury 50 HP Engine ( fuel line)

Thank you for your information and for your help Admiral Divecoz. And.. I updated my profile.. sorry !!. I got the Engine fixed by one of the dealer. The fox valley marine was very helpful. The Mechanic took the engine apart, but couldn't find any leak, using some kind of pressure tester. When they ...

Fuel Leak on Mercury 50 HP Engine ( fuel line)

Does anyone have any experience with leaking fuel like from the fuel pump to the injector? It looks like it's leaking where the fuel pipe from the fuel pump is meeting the pipe going to the Engine ( T connection). How do you fix this without taking the whole carburator/fuel injectors apart since we ...

How about the largest liveable trailable blue ocean boat

Only four posts, one of them completely irrelevant, until the original question, "What is the largest trailerable?" is so badly hijacked that the consensus answer apears to be "What a great boat the Mac26 is." The idea of the largest trailable boat is the fact that I would like ...

It's great to know that the Mac 65 is trailable , but can you launch it by yourself like the Seaward 32 and 26X /M? The Hobie 33 is perhaps long enough. But does it have full standing head room, and full head with shower ? Can you live in it in the comfort of your own home like the Seaward 32 ? Than...

Largest trailable Sailboat ?

Does anyone know the largest trailable sailboat. The one I know is Seaward Eagle 32 RK. It can also go to shallow water, just like the Mac. It will be interesting to know if there is one bigger than this.

Re: M vs X wetted surface: I'm confused

I hear occasionally that the wetted surface on the M is greater than the X because of the curved hull on the M and the "flat" bottom on the X. My egghead side says this logic doesn't make sense. The surface area of a curved container per volume is less than that of a rectangular container...
