Nice film!

Hey, I was wondering... the film "plattform.wmv" has disappeared as well as all the pics of your rear platform - seems like they just went away recently... are they relocated somewhere?

If you call it a land anchor, the price goes up ten-fold . . . Seriously, there's nothing like it for sandy beaches. If you're in a remote spot (the best kind!) with nothing handy to tie up to, this is the perfect item. As a bonus, you can also tie the family Chiahuahua to it - the Mac doesn't mind....

Congratulations! (That's what you get for getting rid of the baby gear!)

Things will undoubtedly be a little complicated for a while, but just think of all the helping hands in a few years, to say nothing of the smiles. Good luck to you all!

For me all I need is a bag of apples some bananas... a can of tuna per day... some sunflower seeds (in the shell)....and some water...a couple hunks of cheese IF I splurge... :) MY sweetheart says I am so easy to please... guess the minimalistic ways have filtered into even my lifestyle of food con...

There are a variety of sonic devices on the market which purport to scare away birds, but I've never heard anyone say that they work, apart from company testimonials. Before I'd spend anything on them, I'd want some objective feeback. I suspect birds would eventually figure out that the noisemakers ...

This is just heartbreaking, especially all the irreplaceable family treasures. In pic 3227 I saw some numbered albums - perhaps a collection of family photos assembled over many years. What a devastating loss to your family. Over the years, Kevin's dad painstakingly collected vast amounts of informa...

Re: looking for a wood table top

My wife loved it and wants one. And well she should! Kevin made us a really nice table. The wood adds a lot of visual warmth to the interior of our boat. If she likes the idea, perhaps she'll lend you a hand with the project. There are a few steps in the process when another pair of hands might be ...

I'm certainly part of the target group for a newbie board, as I truly don't know what I'm doing on a Mac or any other sailboat. My younger years were spent in canoes and fishing boats, so this whole notion of wind power still gets my poor brain tied up in knots. (I like it though!) If such a newbie ...

Frank - Thanks for the welcome. Can't let Kevin have all the fun!

Tripp Gal - Love the onboard dialogue! It only improves when the landlubber spouse doesn't understand the captain's sailing lingo. Comprehension is inversely proportional to the urgency of the situation.

Did I hear someone say jewelry? . . .

I've found that suitable new jewelery and/or shoes, bag & matching posh frock, in conjuntion with lots of wine (note: not whine ) and dinner at a REALLY nice restaurant sometimes helps. Sometimes. I'll take that jewelry - and any other goodies you're offering! Some thoughts from the othe...
