Re: It's the Christmas season
Whenever I start popping bulbs, and my wife hears it, I have to surrender my phone to her……..so she can startWADR, I could do without the sound effects.
That destructive pop, smash, crackle is addictive.

Re: Fuel Primer Bulb
Russ, In the first test she added water to the chemicals in the vials. In the second test, she added the chemical to the water. By that action alone there is mixture. She did not wait to see any separation. I would prefer to see an apples to apples test. The stuff may work, but she did not prove it....

Re: Need new steering!
I installed a hydraulic system on my X earlier this year. Should have done it a long time ago. It makes steering so much easier. It holds a course. With the tubing, uou cut it to the correct length easily. Follow the directions and it sets up quick. I can send pictures or answer questions if needed...

I wish I understood all the process's in your project (I don’t
), but you do, and that’s all that matters. Very much looking forward to finished work.

Re: (Which) Dinghy for the Mac?
As I stated earlier, my dinghy is 290cm in length. While rowing, the maximum I have in the dinghy is one other than me. In spite of its length, a third person is in the way of my rowing. The only place anyone could sit is on the bow; sitting on one side is off balance for rowing. Two are possible, o...

Re: (wicht) Dinghy for the Mac?
I also have an :macm:, so I understand your concern about storage space. My concern is about quality of product. The difference in weight is because of the material the dinghy is made of. My inflatable is twenty years old. Because of the Hypalon, the sun has not degraded the fabric. It is not brittl...

Re: (wicht) Dinghy for the Mac?
I am questioning the construction, and here is why. I have an Achilles inflatable. Its length is 290cm. Its weight is 35 kg. Capacity is 498.95kg. It has an air inflatable floor, an inflatable keel, with one seat (I added a second). It uses Hypalon for its construction. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~...

Herschel,
Once completed, are you going to use such an immaculate boat, or donate it to the Smithsonian
