I have a pretty good gouge about 6" long in my rub rail, has anyone ever just replaced/spliced a small section?

Thanks Chip...Just what I was looking for.

I think I'll skip the extra brakes, my trailer seems to do fine on our last 2000 mile round trip trip.

Got it in the water now, thanks for the help and suggestions. Now I need to add another axle.

A while back I saw a drawing of where to place the hangers for a 2 axle setup. I've tried to search for it but no luck. Anyone know of it or a link to it.
I'll also need info on what axle and springs to get.

I noticed my mast light won't come on. I went forward with a tester to see if I was getting power at the plug but couldn't figure out how to ground the tester. I've been reading post here for a while now. I decided the Mac is the boat I want.
I'll be picking up my 26X, this weekend. I'll be trailering it about 150 miles home. Is there anything I should really watch out for trailering this far?
