I am currently taking advanced piloting. I think the USPS is a great unrealized organization. I wish they would think about taking a more hands on approach with boat handling. Well its here. Time to have some fun on our boats in the pristine setting of the Adirondacks. This weekend should be a great time and the weather looks great. If you have not RSVP its ok. I know that they have a courtesy dock the very end of my pier. I can see if they can set you up for the night. There is also the minigolf dock right next door. You could ask them if they don't mind you tieing up. Might cost you a round of golf :) I am planning on using the day use facilities on frid...

Besides the water level being a little high right now its great. By the time of the regatta there will be nice beaches everywhere. If you haven't sailed here before you will be in for a treat. Glad you are coming.

I will be going up to the lake today and will take some pictures of the surrounding areas. I will post them soon as well as good places to eat that have docks on the lake...... I was thinking of having "Captians Meeting" for those that are even interested in the trip to get more infomation...

There are several locations on the lake to launch. Since you are coming from Lake George I'd say Just come to Northampton Beach Campground you would cut over the Batcherillve bridge its 5 or 6 bucks to use the day use. Thats actually not a bad idea. I just want to know when do we pull the ballast pulg to let the water in(maybe when the skip gets it on the head).hmmm.
