You have to put tape over the water intake above the prop as described by msshene above, to get it to pee at idle.

CDI Furler halyard

Bill Thanks for the offer, I'll contact you when the time comes. Upon inspection I find that the halyard is ok just stretched. The "messenger" [CDI's term for line to raise the sail] is in bad shape. What would you use to replace it?

halyard for CDI FF2 Furler

I have a 97 :macx: with a CDI FF2 furler and I need to replace the halyard, part of the line is de-corded. What should I use and where do I find it?

ladder interferes with motor...

While measuring to build a back deck on my 97 :macx: I found that with my Honda 50 tilted, the ladder interfered with turning the wheel completely to starboard. This would be the configuration while sailing. I don't have room to move the ladder. Anyone else have this problem, what is your the soluti...

Has anyone used the slippery plastic pads on the bunks [Bunk Slicks, etc] I use them on my aluminum power boat with great success.

New number, new price

Harbor Freight has changed the part number for the winch. New number 61694-2VGA, New price $24.99. It still seems to be worth it to me. 8)
Jack can you post some more pictures of this mod. [the relief of the laddar]
Did you mount the new winch right on the channel or did you put spacers under it?

What are people using for a cockpit light?

I tried the Davis Mega Light but was not impressed. It didn't give much light though it was supposed to use very little power. I am sending it back. They do make a cockpit light but it is 65 dollars. Too expensive. On Duane's website he talked about a light he built, but no picture that I could find...
