I have the single line reef system and a Sail Caddy and it did get in the way. But it's not a real problem. I've run into more problems having to hand bomb the reef line along the boom as I haul on the reef line with my other hand. Always happens if I wait until I 'have to reef' instead of anticipat...

Replacement jib
The sunbleached outter seam on my original jib has just split and I need to replace it. It was on a CDI furler. I've been quoted $350 Can (~US$300). Good price? Can I do better?
Any challenges in replacing it on the roller?

Hello Kaylee Last I saw my'01 X' was a few weeks ago on Buffalo Lake (just east of Red Deer). It too has stiff steering. The last step in raising the mast is attaching the furler roller. This is the hardest part of the whole process of getting the boat in the water.
