Re: Need identification of two screws
These look like Thread-Forming Screws similar to this https://www.mcmaster.com/product/99461A207. They are used for screwing into plastic, and work well for fiberglass.

Re: Winter Projects 2023-2024 -- Post Yours
I'm adding a Raspberrry Pi 4 computer with a 7" display with Openplotter. FYI, I still need to calibrate the yaw, pitch and roll, the boat is not flip upside down + :D https://openplotter.readthedocs.io/en/3.x.x/description/what_is_openplotter.html I'm also working a Yachta Wind Sensor to mount...

Re: Adding a larger holding tank
I would really suggest the Nature's Head Composting Toilet. Best $1K I have spent so far on my 2002 :macx:. https://i.postimg.cc/1gMm4cwz/20220610-170304.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/XGznkj2S/20220610-170308.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/6T8W5Z39/20220610-170311.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/rz78dp05/20220610-170...

Re: Cooking gadgets - show yours
I spent many hours figuring out the best cooking appliances. What I currently like the most is: Insigniaâ„¢ - Single-Zone Induction Cooktop model NS-IC1ZBK0, got on sale for $37 Stansport Heavy Duty - Stainless Steel Clad Cook Set (369), perfectly compact Instant Pot Duo Mini 3-Quart (take sometimes) ...

Re: 3D Printed Mast Cap
The only one published to Thingverse is the mast cap and that's the older version without the HD TV bracket (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5341382). The material I use for the :macx: is PETG. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PDV9RC8/ref=ox_sc_act_image_1?smid=A3M6OB6YPLO1C&psc=1 I have r...

Re: 3D Printed Mast Cap
I would definitely recommend getting a good 3D printer. I started out with Anet A8 and learned a lot, but spent more time fixing it than printing. Then I rebuilt it from the ground up with a metal frame and 3D printed parts. So I now have a AM8 like this one (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:226321...

Re: 3D Printed Mast Cap
The tablet looking thing is a HD TV antenna I got on Amazon. It worked out great since the cable it comes with is 32.8FT and it fit perfectly down the mast.

Re: 3D Printed Mast Cap
I'll look into doing a group buy. I have worked with some companies that can print 3D models or maybe I'll put my printer to work. Here is the finish product installed. I added a HD TV antenna, it works great. Getting over 60 channels in my home town, with out the mast raised. Only one thing, don't ...

I still need to make sure it fits, but maybe I will sell some. If anyone is interested in printing your own, I posted the STL files on Thingiverse.

3D Printed Mast Cap
I just got finished assembling my new Mast Cap for my :macx: . I needed a way to mount my new VHF antenna, wind indicator and anchor light. I purchased the Stainless mast cap from Blue Water Yachts but it was too small. So I decided I would design and print one up. It's made from PETG that's pretty ...
