Starting to look at replacing the carpet -- went to Home D and saw vinly wood grains --- some are textured and have a real nice look. Significantly cheaper than teak and holly plywood. Anyone use this type of product before? Concerned about how slippery they may get if wet and how the adhesive backi...

Need a rental for towing
Sold my Explorer and assumed that I would be able to rent a truck the few times I need to trailer the boat. I quickly learned none of the regulars will rent if it is to tow. Even U-Haul and Budget Trucks will not permit boats to be towed behind their trucks. Anyone have any suggestions where I might...

Need a tow rental
Just sold my Explorer and went to a small car that is not capable of towing the 26X. I thought I could rent a SUV when I wanted to tow but quickly learned none of the regulars will allow towing. Even U-Haul and Budget Truck will not permit towing a boat behind their trucks. Does anyone know of a com...

Installing curtains
Looking to dress up the inside of my boat and add some privacy by putting in some curtains. Looked at what was available in West Marine and decided to enlist my wife and do this from scratch. We have the curtains and purchased the rods-- the only question I still pondering is how to attach the rods....

dinghy
I am considering the purchase of an dinghy and was hoping to get some suggestions. What I'm looking for would be used on freshwater lakes, holds a minimun of 2 adults, weights under 60 lbs. and can be easily inflated and deflated. Would like to keep the cost to under $400. I know, try not to laugh t...
