To add to my original post, there is a hole at the end of the drawbar where it meets the cross "T" member. I had mistakenly assumed that all water would drain out of this hole. What I did not realize was that water was stagnating midway up the drawbar. The other oversight I made over the l...

Trumpguy, do you have photos of your installation? I have the standard control, but cannot figure out how this works. From examining the pedestal further, it would seem that the new pedestal is not as deep as the old one, so the lever is much closer to the wheel (and clashes with it).

Has anyone installed the standard Suzuki BF50 controls on the new 2007 models 26M pedestal? My engine installer is telling me that if he mounts the control in the standard position, the throttle handle will clash with the steering wheel.
