Good point Kurz - my friends all say I can complicate a rock. Tying down the midpoint without support will deflect the mast. It might not be enough to actually cause damage, but I feel better supporting it, to prevent deflecting it. When it's supported AND tied down, it doesn't move. That leaves me...

I just stuck pvc on it, go as high as you want. I think mine is about 2ft above gun wale. Makes perfect goal post. Even flexes a little .

My yamaha was like 180 I think. That was 20hr break end. I think it's after every 50hr now. But at least once a yr. I now do it myself saving labor charges. I used yamaha brand oil and filters fuel,lower end, still 110.

what is a good size for my :macm: . I found one I can purchase for a good price, but maybe its too big?? Its advertising 3/4 oz 30 luff, 35 leech, 22 foot.
