Re: Helm seat options for 26x
I have the helm seat to a 2000 X that I removed long ago. The hinge is still on the boat but I could include that as well. If you want to take this off line to talk about it I'm at jxx@xxxxxxx.com. Jon, I'm sorry, but we don't allow email addresses to be posted within the forum. Please either add an...

Re: New Stern Boarding Ladder from Railmakers
PLEASE!! let us know how the replacement installation goes. If you say "it was a piece of cake" then they've just sold another one. Thanks for taking one for the "team".

Re: LOVE THE X - HATE THE TRAILER
We've had a X for 10 years and never had a problem getting the boat tight to the trailer. You just have to be brave and do it while the hull is still wet. Drive about 3 boat lengths and slam on the brakes and here she comes. Yes the first time is a little unnerving and people in the parking lot will...

26X Stern Rail seats
I have seen that there is a company offering stern rail seats for the 26X. Has anyone installed a set of these and what are your thoughts? I've always liked the concept and am interested in the extra seating.

Re: Sail Refurbishing
Hi, Bob,
"ga'Zel" is slipped at the South Shore Marina in Pueblo. Just got her in the water last Saturday before Sunday's snow. If you think about coming down please let me know as I could use all the help I can get.

Re: Newbie needs help in Denver area
I'm in Colorado Springs and have a 2000 X. Don't know much about the M but between the two of us we should be able to figure it out. I'm guessing the best thing to do is to meet and go thru a set up and tear down once before we try to get you wet. We can take this off line and set up the details if ...

Re: My new Mac
Hi Tom,
So where in Colorado will you be. We're at the south marina at Pueblo and should be in by the third week in April. "ga'Zel" is a 20001 X and we would like to make ourselves available should you need any help with something.
We wish you nothing but the best with your new mac, jon

Sail Refurbishing
"ga'Zel" is a 2000 X that has been slipped in Colorado for the last 5 years and I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with having the mainsail refurbished. Sail Care in PA claims a refurbishing process that makes the sail "like new again" at far less expense than buying new....

Reply to those helping find PHRF #
To all those of you that responded to my request to get a PHRF # for the X, I thank you all. Think I'll go with the the 267 base and argue for it not to fall too far. All of your input is very, very much appreciated. BaldBaby - We're slipped at the south marina at Pueblo. Come see us. I wish you all...

Need a PHRF number for a 26X.
Our marina is starting a new yacht club and is requiring a PHRF number for handicapping. Is there a number for a 2000 26X? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Centerboard Problem
I think that I may have slightly bent the centerboard pivot pin. When the centerboard is completely pulld up it will not go back down. If I get in the water I can hook my feet on the board, pull slightly to starboard and the thing will fall on its own. Any suggestions on how to straighten the pin wi...
