Thanks, Moe. Certainly answers the question on X production.
Anyone out there with a 2004 M? What is your hull # and when did you buy your boat?

Count me in! I sail Narragansett Bay and would love to see the first regatta here. The only problem would be slip space. Although there are plenty of marinas, they are all pretty full. Getting everyone into a single location would be pretty difficult. I would be willing to travel 1500 miles one way ...

You can purchase a video on this site called Speedy Rigger that is just what you are looking for. Rigging, launching, etc. by one person. It is poorly produced but there is a ton of information and for me was well worth the purchase price. They also offer a companion video on sailing the X. You can ...

You folks make me feel much better. This is my first season with the boat and as I said it hasn't been in the water long. The first few times sailing or at the dock the water was very calm and I didn't recall hearing anything. Yesterday there was a lot of small wake and I couldn't believe what I was...

I hope you guys are right. This is pretty loud and you can feel the thunk in the cabin and hear it in the cockpit. The boat slipped next to mine is an X and I rocked it a bit to see if I could get the same response. I didn't. Do you still think this is normal? I am used to a fixed keel boat and this...

Centerboard Thunk!
Need some help here. I have a 2002 X that I just put in the water for the first time. When the centerboard is lowered I hear a thunking sound at the fore end of the trunk in the general area of where the bolt comes thru the hull under the forward galley seat. Seems like it is more pronounced on the ...

Perfect Boat Length
I have seen many posts on the board discussing a larger version of the Mac. What would your ideal length be?

Black Areas Of Cabin Roof
The black areas of the cabin roof in my boat are chalky and do not have the shine of the hull gel coat. Any suggestions on a product that will restore the color and shine?
