Sitting is fine on the C-Head. The Admiral's challenge (mine too) is getting pants up in a crouched position.

Well, door off, curtain in already. 6' for me, 5'4 for wife, and even she complains. Hard to deal with clothing when bent over. Sitting is the norm for our C-Head, expect for our 6-year old son.

I sometimes sail the Columbia, although not yet in my M26. I spotted this article and photo on the Three Sheets NW blog. A very good site for northwest sailors.
