My Reference was to Kmcelmores support of the 'Official' flag proposal of a while ago.

Re: MacTrawler Avatar
Bearing mind that this site is free for the average user, a LOT of work goes on behind the scenes that the users never see. The moderators have to draw a "line in the sand" somewhere. If your biggest problem is a particular avatar, and you are seriously incensed by the issue - then you se...

Re: MacTrawler Avatar
So the truth is out!!! and it does not reflect any of the BS we have all been fed since March 7th. And yet it was OK to support a stupid flag with a RV on it!! And yet THIS is supposed to be the site for ALL MACS and their Mods and a place for ALL to show what they have achieved with a Mac But hold ...

Re: MacTrawler Avatar
Consider this, the :tat: :tat22: :tat26: are formally produced boats that are bought from the factory or dealers - just like the :macm: :macx: and :mac19: . The Mac Trawler is not - it is a modification to a :macm: :macx: :mac19: :tat: :tat22: or :tat26: . Is it possible that avatars for owner made...

Re: MacTrawler Avatar
No answer from the administrator ? Must be honest here, I thought the Mac Community was better than the rest of the boating community, and that 'boat snobbery' did not exist in these forums. Clearly we Mac Trawler types must be the lowest of the low, if we don't rate a proper response from site Own...

Three Gypsies Would love to see some photos of your 'Hardtop over the Cockpit' I have also done the Utility or (Stub mast) and was thinking about covering over the cockpit, so I am looking for ideas.. New topic perhaps.. I enjoy posting but my Mac is no longer a sailboat , in fact far from it with i...

Re: tohatsu Cable - select reverse, move forward.
On mine there is a machine screw through the hole, which separates the two cables keeping them in place. I've had another bout of the above, this time, not a broken cable, but i suspect, the constant up/down tilting had been wearing the gear cable stop bracket, so it slipped out. Lucky I caught it e...

Re: 1997 Ballast valve missing?
Your setup is exactly the same as mine. You need to fill by opening the gate valve at the Stern, it fills quicker if you also open the vent under the step. When the Ballast is full (NEVER PART FULL) Close the Stern Valve, and then the Step Vent. The water level at full should be within 3" of th...

Re: MacTrawler Avatar
Still patiently waiting on a ruling for a trawler smilie . Guess you haven't figured.... It just aint going to happen...... Cos if there was a will for it (and it is a job that would take just 30 seconds) it would have been done by now. Guess we Trawler types are not as welcome as first thought! :?...

Re: mods/upgrades for 97 model 26x
I would agree with all of the foregoing. Especially having an Anchor. Early on (and some of this is Kit rather than mods) Lifejackets (decent ones and enough for all on board) Life Raft (with space for as many as you carry on board - I have a 6-person but don't exceed 4 on board) Flare pack (nothing...

Re: mods/upgrades for 97 model 26x
Just make sure the first mods attend to your Admirals comfort requirements, that way you will enjoy your boat more and future funding will be easier to access..

Re: Transduce location
I mounted mine below the Stbd rear table seat and about 6" from the keel. Works perfectly.
