I'm going boatless for now. Too many hobbies and not enough time. My have wife and I have spent much more time sailing with my father-in-law on his boat in Belize than we have on our boat. I'm also considering selling my Suzuki 2.5hp and 8.5 foot Ebay inflatable. If anyone local is interested send m...

Sold out
I signed over my Mac today and am officially a former Mac owner. I wanted to thank all of the great folks on this board for advice and help. I already feel a tinge of loss but think she's heading for a great new home and hopefully will get a lot more use.
Thx!

I would avoid AGM and lifeline like the plague based on my recent experience with them. My father in law has the Lifeline AGM batteries on his 2004 Island Packet. He was cruising down in Belize and was having problems with them this spring. He asked me to call Lifeline to see if I could get some tec...

This is a handy spot because I can stand in the dingy and lower the motor down part still attached to the ladder. How do you keep the ladder up? Is ...

Study the chart for the area. Make sure to note any lights/visual aids to navigation. Visualize the chart when you are sailing and use the GPS to help confirm your position. If you are going very slow the refresh on the GPS can be inaccurate so also keep an eye on the compass to insure your heading ...

I'll regretfully not make SoCal for July 4th shindig, as I already have plans for NorCal. :( However, I have 'standing orders' from my Son to bring the boat down sometime in August, and to provide nautical memories for my 2 grandkids. A trailerable powersailer ... ain't it great~!!! 8) Frank, It wo...
