Argentina, You asked for inexpensive and no hull hole. I suggest a Hawkeye (link here) with a rear transom mount. It mounts dead level with the hull so kelp should not be a problem. I have one so mounted and beach the Mac and it does not bother the transducer. I tried inside mounting with putty and...

Trailer winch
Winch failed and I am replacing it. The boat is safely at home but coming out of the water it inched back from the trailer "V" about 5 inches. Can I crank it back into the notch with a new stronger winch? Which one should I purchase?
