Is a Mac 26 M to small for a spinnaker swing?

It seems like it is, but thought I would ask see if anyone has done it.

Anyone have any issues steering under sail. I replaced the stock steering with hydrolic this year, and it been working pretty good, but yesterday I was having trouble turning into the wind.

I am looking for plans for a weighted Mac26M, my factory one is cracked and I need to replace it, and it might be cheaper to build one that will reduce heel.
