Re: Softopper Seat Covers

I've ordered both interior and exterior covers and the fuel tank covers. I think they will really lift the look of the boat.

Thanks for all the comments

Re: Softopper Seat Covers

Sorry what is this Sun thing you are speaking of? Living in Ireland we get cloudy and rainy (sometimes even snowy) but sunny is a rare thing :P

Thanks - I'd missed the extra pages Doh! Seems like a no brainer, I'll order these once I get the shipping quote.

Softopper Seat Covers

Hi all,

I'm planning on purchasing interior and exterior seat covers from Softopper - http://www.softopper.com/marine-products-list.aspx

Has anyone on here already done so and if so what are your thoughts?

Thanks in advance

Re: 26X typical speeds under sail and motor

27knots with a 90 - thats impressive, very tempted to upgrade. Did you have to strengthen the transom in anyway? Upgrade steering etc?

Re: 26X typical speeds under sail and motor

I have a 2000 X with factory Main and newish Jib, 50HP Yamaha 4 Stroke (2006). I regularly get 5 to 6 knots under sail and I've seen 17 knots under power with no ballast. Hull is anti-fouled as she is on a swing mooring for 6 months of the year.

Refused Insurance

I was looking online for an insurance quote for my 2000 26X with 50HP Yamaha. When I noticed this statement on the Allianz website: Vessels Not Covered - Catamarans and all other Multihulled Vessels, Jet Skis, House Boat, Ferro Cement Hull, McGregor , Monterey, vessels constructed from Carbon Fibre,...
