attaching wood piece to galley fiberglass hull

I need suggestions on glues, adhesives...etc. I am wanting to attach (small items) baskets to inside hull. The piece that would be attaching to fiberglass is wood. I have used epoxy adhesive and after some time the baskets just fell right off. What kind of strong adhesive that will permanently stick...

Divecoz: My answer would have to be no. On the map truman looks pretty large but a lot of it is not what you would call sailable. There are a couple of bridges that restricts the lake when ever the lake level is up. You need to check the lake level each time you go out if you want to use the rest of...

DLT: Thanks for the ride last spring. I bought the Mac from Bill @ boats4sail. Easy to do business with and the fairest businessman I have ever met. A little strange though. Kinda like me.

Scott: No, but I'm familiar with the KC area. She will be Proteus if I ever get the name put on her. No, we've never met. I've never owned a dinghy and I was just picking your brain. I'm not really a sailor. I've owned a few sailboats and I love sailing but I don't have the experience and knowledge ...

Scott: Is Smithville patroled by the county or the state? Could make a difference. The reason I'm asking is because I can't figure out how to paste the numbers on my new rubber ducky. If I don't have to I don't want to.

Scott: The Mo watercraft handbook indicates that any powered boat requires registration regardless of length. Did I miss something?

Yes, I got the Suzuki for $649. Putnam Boat Sales, Columbia Mo. About 100 miles from home. The only reason I went to ebay for the dinghy was all the positive forum activity on Affordable Inflatables. That an the other $2000 it would cost me to buy a real dinghy. My wife has been burnt on ebay more t...

Wow! I'm getting dizzy. Lets see what I have learned. 1. I can't row an inflatable 1A. I can buy a Suzuki 2.5 for $650 2. I can row an inflatable 2A. I can buy an inflatable keel inflatable for $700 3. I should try electric 3A. I would have to store 4 items---motor, battery, genset, and gas for a to...

Well, I guess it was just wishfull thinking. We had tried to row inflatables on charter boats and sure enough, it can't be done. I was hoping that it was just the particular inflatables we were on---that maybe there was one out there that had different charistics. I don't particularly want to carry ...

I would like to know which inflatable dinghy would be better to row?
What should I look for in a rowing dinghy?
Thanks!
