I have a 2001 honda bf 50 on my 26x. need to know what is involved in removing it from boat. It needs some tlc from a pro. so taking it to marine mechanic.

battery placement
I have a 2001 26x. I have two agm batteries. I want to put one of them to the right of the ballest check ring. and use the fiberglass wall that holds foam in place to brace bat.. problem is im a cluts and dont know how to do it right or if that is a good place, please help

Im new to Mac sailors but just baught a 2001 26x and need to get bottom painted in northern virginia.
any thoughts on where i might get it done. this is my first boat and im looking for a good job at fair price.
