Ditto :) 100% agree. Motoring at speed with the board down is a very, very bad idea. When the board has any significant vertical component the shape of the board will cause it to act as a foil. My understanding is that Macgregors were built with long strand fiberglass ccomstruction - which was more expensive and longer than chopped short strand. Roger was asked about this and he made the point that Macs were built with an understanding of the strength of fiberglass when designed/engineered...
