Hello everyone, We made it to Bimini and back safe and sound. It was a fantastic trip! The crossing on the way out was quite extreme as we had a VERY strong NE wind. As soon as we got on the open water and saw the size of the waves and the strength of the wind we decided that we would keep on going ...

I trailer ... Out here in Miami it's simply not economically feasible to keep the boat in the water.
The only other option is to keep the boat with the mast up on trailer close to Key Largo for about $140/month.

There are a fair number of advantages to trailering ... I am happy with it.
