Re: MUCK-About Sail
Luna Sea (West) is confirmed at Sailing Emporium from 7/9 through 7/15. See you there! Will you be needing to launch park or stay at my marina at White Rocks? Send me a pm if I can help. TFlight AKA Tony, D'Lei Thanks for the offer Tony. Looking at the map, we may reduce our stay at Sailing Emporiu...

Re: MUCK-About Sail
Hi all! For those that attended last years Muck About this is Bruce and Lesley who had the older 1993 "S" Classic "Nauti Time". We are planning to attend this years Muck About as well but with a differance. We sold our Mac and bought a year 2000 Catalina 320 last August/September...

Re: MUCK-About Sail
17:00 sounds good (Maybe earlier), my Wife won't be released from work until then so unless she can change things I'm probably leaving her behind coming alone. BUT my cousin lives on the mainland so when she arrives it's just a 10 minute diddy bop over to pick her up (2minutes in those powersailers)...

Re: MUCK-About Sail
We'll probably be starting later in the afternoon but the Heart/Miller trip sounds great as long as nothing pops up in our train wreck of a schedule! We'll be leaving from White Rocks Marina as soon as my Wife arrives at the boat from work. I'll make sure I'll be on the boat waiting. If for some rea...

Re: Interesting new outboard for dinghy
I LOVE propane products, I converted my 5500W generator to propane and it is GREAT! After my Dad got a quote for $360  to fix his generator so we left the shop with his generator still in my truck and I converted it also (Around $200). So when I saw this outboard it looked real appealing, I di...

Re: Getting ready to come aboard!
From what I remember you don't have to worry at all, it doesn't even really put out that much until 1/2 to 3/4 throttle and then it's just minimal. Seriously, if there were an overcharging problem I would have addressed it. I'm in the electrical field so anything out of the ordinary will bother the ...

Re: Getting ready to come aboard!
It now has .................and I installed an alternator on the 8hp Nissan................... Just wondering if your motor has a regulator on the alternator. My Nissan 8HP has electric start with alternator/recifier but does not have a regulator - very few outboards apart from the more recent ones...

Re: Getting ready to come aboard!
I'd prefer to do most of my own mods anyway since I'm seldom happy the way others do things. Our current boat's entire electrical system consisted of a toggle switch for the running lights and a small light over the sink. It now has volt meters, solar panel and controller, a small power ditribution ...

Re: Getting ready to come aboard!
Hey Jim that sounds like a good idea. I never flew a spinnaker though. I sent you a PM. I am in Pasadena MD, we keep our boat at White Rocks Marina in Rock Creek. I'd post a picture but I am having difficulties doing things like that on this site. Thanks for all the replies everyone. Any information...

Getting ready to come aboard!
I'm a current 1993 26S owner and love it but I'm really starting to look at getting an X or M or even a NEW M! I always said I'd never buy a brand new boat living in MD (So many used boats around) but I'm really starting to think I just might since there doesen't seem to be a lot of 26M's for sale (...
