I put the antenna on one of the lateral stays, and run the cable over the top of the cabin into the interior cabin to the radio location, wich is on the port side bunkwall next to the switch panel. The prolem is to install the VHF connectors to each end of the cabl...

Re: VHF antenna thru top cabin connector
As always a lot of good ideas. Thank you all. I like the idea to cut just the cable hole at the cabin top, less leaking problems, less inside liner room required. I also bought the FM antenna spliter and it have to be connected inside the boat, so I'm planning to connect this spliter at the end of t...

Re: VHF antenna thru top cabin connector
I will use your idea of the washers and 4200
Where it will be better to do the hole ? Next to the actual masthead connector or on the other side of the mast rised fiberglass plate.
Thank you

Re: Windvane Davis gone
Mine was a Windex 15
The small vanes for lateral stays, I think they can stay clear of the jib, since I have the K-H 105.
Thank you

I'm sure I screwed the windvane all the way tigh, but when I was sailing heeling at 30 degrees, I saw the windvane snap out of the windvane mount and into the ocean, now I know that a replacement is $30 dlls. at Defender, but dont know if...

Re: 26M w/ 90 HP
Does anybody knows the prices for the motors ?. New and installed ?
Tohatsu 2 stroke 50hp, 75 hp, 90 hp
Suzuki 70 hp, 90 hp
If I can pay $1000 less than what the local dealer have offered ($5800 50hp, $7500 75hp, tohatsus), I can travel anywhere in Texas to get it.
Thanks

Re: 26M w/ 90 HP
I was offered by the local Tohatsu dealer the 2 stroke 50hp for $5800 He also sells the new 75hp for $7400 with everything installed. Now I only have the Tohatsu 9.8 with manual lift. He says that there is no reason to install the 75 hp, because on the Tohatsus, the 50 hp performs as a 70hp, and the...
