I like things EZ. So, in that vain it's just one less thing to rig and unrig which means they stay there all the time. So does the mast raising pole and hardware. I just lift them up against the mast and clip them on (we've added a clip) and the foresail slides past when changing tack.

BBQ and YOU
The Admiral says we’re thinking about a BBQ grill to mount on the aft rail, not sure how I convinced her of it, but ain’t complaining. What do you like and what makes ya like it? We've looked at the Magma and some others at Boaters World and don't understand the $$$$ difference. Are there any pit fa...

I just returned from a business trip to Mexico and they are upset that some of the work that used to be sent to them is now being off loaded to China. My Mexican hosts couldn't figure out why I started to grin when they started griping about China, Hummmmmmm. Last March I was in China and saw how th...

My Father-in-law was putting gas on fungus rings on his lawn to kill them. Something he had done for 40 or more years. Suddenly the gas lit and started to burn. Got him over 10% of his body and at his age was a long road back. Things can happen anytime when we are not thinking about it. This WAS a s...

4 days of sailing…… well sort of
Hooked the :macx: behind the Durango and headed to Camano Island (cause we were looking at a place there). Found the water about 15 feet past the end of the cement ramp, so went back to Everett and launched. Spent the night at the Jetty Island dock and cooked breakfast on the boat for the first time...

We have used the 3m re-positional hooks with great success in our :macx: They are cool cause they hold strong but when you pull down on the release tab, release into your hand. We've had them attached for up to 2 years and they just dropped off when we wanted to re-arrange things when the Admiral ge...

I have the pedestal guard from BWY on my 99X. It was installed by BWY when they originally sold the boat. It is attached with a backing plate behind the plastic and has substantial strength as mounted. We have had a couple of hard slams from the boom snapping across when we first started learning ho...

Eric and Zoran, I really appreciate your willingness to share toys, I used to be more open to that as well. Then about 9 years ago I let a friend borrowed my plane to take his lady to her Mothers for her birthday. He had flown with me many times and was a good pilot but to no avail, we still lost bo...
