I found the Tempo LPT 12 gallon tanks at captainsurplus on e-bay (Marine Surplus inc). They have 3 left @ $69-95.
Trouble is...the postage is almost as much as the price, when you live in the UK!

I made up one of these, but it only reduces the swing! I use a halyard, with one line to the foot of the mast, and two to the aft cleats. Currently making up a 'spreader' to open it out more.

Re: Spinnaker Hound
I changed the masthead cheek blocks for doubles, and fly my Parasailor2 from there...no problems so far!
Always a beautiful sight when it fills with air.

Re: hatch rubbing thru gel coat
I couldn't stand the screeching when I slid the hatch open or closed! I used plastic strips which went under the hatch and up the inside, to help centralise the hatch. It worked a treat, and made the whole thing smooth and silent. Held in place by liberal application of Ceresit FT101.

Re: Tiller Pilot project for 2002 X
I found that on an :macx: at least, it is possible to mount the Simrad TP22 where it runs out of tillerpilot throw before you reach the helm limit - I was concerned about that same event when I mounted it. Corrected model number to TP22 I have to admit I'm struggling here! The three Simrad Tillerpi...

Re: Tiller Pilot project for 2002 X
Hi Catigale, Many thanks for that. I see where I went wrong. The TP body pin can go back an inch or so, and the rod pin will then be positioned to give the full extension/retraction. Maybe... I used the existing hole for the socket in the wiring, but it wasn't high enough to be clear of the outboard...

Re: Tiller Pilot project for 2002 X
I'm following your excellent 'instructions' and am nearly finished putting in a Simrad TP32. When I manually tested the set up, standing at the stern and pressing buttons, I managed to put the helm hard over to port and broke the piece of teak holding the pin! The handbook doesn't give a way of sett...

Re: Permanent ballast
There is a post from one owner who filled his centrboard with lead. You could try that, but would have to alter the lifting arrangement like he did. I put about 10Kg in the bottom of mine, but unlike him, I used lead shot and resin. He poured melted lead in, a little at a time!
