Congrats on snagging one of the last factory boats.
The following is a system I developed that holds my head sail.

Re: Rudder rope?
I replaced the rudder lines on my M, but I don't remember the length. You could tape a smaller diameter line to the existing rudder line and pull out the old line and measure it, then the thin line could be used to pull new line through the rudder hole. Good luck. God > Family > Country Mac Out.

Re: EFOY fuel cell
The fuel cell idea is fantastic because of its simplicity, just strip the hydrogen from water molecules and walla you have fuel. But that's to easy and there isn't enough profit in that business model; why just sell a fuel cell when you can sell the "special fuel" to go along with it. Its ...

Re: stuck zippers
Hello Capt.
Try folding the cushions then put them in a large trash bag; take a wet vac and suck the air out of the bag. This may, create enough of a vacuum to draw out the moisture.
Good luck.

Halyard Diameter
Hello, You would think that I would have written this info down by now, but I can't remember if the mainsail halyard on the 26M is 5/16" or 3/8". Could someone help me out here, please? One more question, were all the 26M stock working lines, save the genoa halyard, the same diameter? Than...

Re: A Major MACFAUX MOD
Parrot head, I agree with you on your opinion of Oriental. My wife and I enjoy sailing MAC-A-TAC from our home in Swansboro to Beaufort, up the cut to Oriental. Thank you for the information regarding cost. I was interested in the idea of using an ultrasonic system to retard haul growth below the wa...

Re: A Major MACFAUX MOD
Hello Parrothead, Thanks for the pics, she looks like a fine vessel. I have a few questions about the Gemini: What is the average height in the cabin? How often do you haul out and what is the cost for doing the anti-fouling paint job, including haul out? I have grown accustomed to walking out to my...

This is a sweet boat, but I haven't figured how to park it in my drive way and still be able to see my house from the street

Re: Hinged Engine Well Platform
Hello Brian, Seapup and kmclemore,
I did leave ~ 1/4" gap around the platform edges so the factory parts have some flexing room
. Glad you enjoyed the video.

Re: New tow beast time
Hello Russ, Here's an idea from left field, try renting a vehicle. Depending of the frequency of use it may be less expensive; there are two companies, that I know of, Budget Truck and U-Haul. Just think of the coolness factor pulling up to the ramp in one of those babies :o . Back to reality, it wo...
