Here's the hatch I installed. I still need to build the interior compartment for storage and a secure section to hold two batteries. I also want to put a water tank in there.

The rails on my 26S came from there. Not too long ago, someone called them and found out they did have some for the 26C's still available.

Yes, I frequent both macgregorowners com and trailersailers com, since before I owned my boat. Those discussion forums helped me to decide to buy my 26S. I've also been to this site many, many times over the last few years. That's why I say, I feel foolish, because for whatever reason I never notice...

I'm very interested in moving my two batteries from under the galley, to under the vee berth. The reason is to free up storage under the galley. I'd sure like to see pictures of what others have done to accomplish this.

Any suggestions will be much appreciated!

I really enjoy seeing what others have done with their boats, with respect to mods. The mods page here is excellent, I just wish there were more mod posts for the older boats.
