Re: Our new boat, Getting it home to the NW
That would have been too easy towing it home although they are trailers built with moble home wheels and frames so a one ton truck can pull one out for maintance but that's in FLA where the boat launchies are flatter. Good to hear from you and your not frozen,up in BC It was great to talk to you thi...

Re: Our new boat, Getting it home to the NW
Part 2 of our trip: Traveling up the Columbia river in Nov is beautiful with the fall colors. The wind on the second day got to be 39Kt's on the nose with a 5 kt current and we turned back a couple miles for a couple of days before heading for Bonniville Dam and our first 100 ft locks ( smooth saili...

Our new boat, Getting it home to the NW
Well adventure started with our 07 MacGregor 26 M sv Inspiration. Re: It,s been fun
With the breezes from the NW and the current and big swells this time of year I think it will be trucked on a low boy trailer to the Salish Sea. I don't want to talk about getting rid of our Mac on here because the web gods will bleep the hole post, but it will be listed on Yacht World under the nam...

It,s been fun
Were buying a 2001 Gemini 105Mc, WITH ONLY 420 hours on the disal, so this is Good By to all my friends here unless you bump into us at an anchorage on the Salish Sea. Our new to us catamaran will get renamed from ( a really hot place  , since the editing won't let the name be posted here :? )...
