Batteries

Yup, I know use the search button, did that and got 1995 posts. Anyway, I need 2 new batteries for the my Mac, first since we purchased in 05. My question is? Which have you found to be the best overall in general? Marine 12V lead, gel, Automotive?
Thanks

Id like to give your anchoring method a try! Maybe Im just brain dead today, but Im having a hard time visualizing the method. Any photos you know of? Or would it be possible to post some sort of drawing?

Dave I have used Automagic products for the cleaning, polishing and waxing of all of my toys, cars, boats, and motorcycles for years. Excellent product easy to use. Google Automagic for the your nearest dealer and product info. I enjoy taking care of my toys and don't consider it a newbie compulsion...

I have pulled my mast off for the winter, hanging in my garage. Lots of what we call Sierra Cement here. A few years ago an overnight storm dropped enough snow to shatter the windshield on the ski boat.

I did have an issue similar to your in reference to raising my main. Try losening your boom end line (out haul). If the out haul is too tight the main will not go up all the way. Let it loose cmpletely and after your main is raised fully re-adjust your boom end line (out haul).

Sounds like you have a winter like I do. I can get anywhere from 6" to 3' feet of snow over night. I too have just covered the hatch and forward with what I call runner's, 5 x 8 foot tarps. Snow is a hugh issue. PVC or Gray (electrical) wont cut it. 1,2, or 3 feet of snow will collapse any pvc ...
